Park-Like Living in San Francisco

While perusing Craigslist today I came across a posting for a single family residence in the Presidio that I just had to share with you... click on the photo to be taken to the craigslist post.

PHA has enjoyed packing/unpacking several clients in the Presidio who have rented officers' quarters homes.  Most of them though have not been single family homes but rather side by side duplexes. Yet, they too, enjoyed 3,000 to 3,250 square feet of living space.

Unpacking and organizing these homes has been a joy because of the large sized rooms, large closets and the basement!! ..... most basements are divided between a utility room, storage room and very large family/play room!

The Presidio of San Francisco was once a military post and today is a beautiful public park with many historic homes that have been refurbished and are now for lease. In 1994 it was turned over to the National Park Service and in 1996, the US Congress established the Presidio National Trust to oversee and manage the interior park lands.

Within 21 distinctive neighborhoods throughout the Presidio, there are a wide variety of housing styles and sizes available... apartments, townhomes, duplexes and single-family residences. Some are by the beach, others by hiking/biking trails and others with unbelievable views of both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. However, there are income and leasing restrictions so it is best to visit www.presidio.gov for complete information.

The next time you visit San Francisco, or you're a resident, I encourage you to drive through the Presdio - it's a beautiful oasis!
